Summer has been wonderful. period. I don't think I have had this type of freedom in a long time, it feels amazing to know that I don't have those "monday morning blues" at least temporarily. Not to mention being able to go to the beach which is de-stressing within itself :) Every wednesday night I have been perfecting my line dancing skills with some girls from school and have learned quite a bit if I do say so. I don't know if it's the pure dance talent we have or the dollar drafts we treat ourselves to at dinner. Our teacher is all you are expecting and more. The lessons are at a beach club place where about 98.9% of the people are great shaggers. little intimidating but nonetheless, that's next on the list of things to learn. I told my friend Sarah to pick her out when she came one week and it took her like -2 secs. Anyways, that has been fun and I hope to take shagging lessons soon :)
On to other important updates... The HOUSE! I was all fired up about writing an exciting blog about the house until this afternoon when we received a call from the mortgage lender saying that the "once USDA eligible house" prior to contract is now no longer eligible. what? Geez. It's always one more step that I have to go for things to work out. I think it's the Lord's way of always showing me how grateful I need to be for things. It definitely isn't how I would of hoped this afternoon would have gone but I'm trying to trust that it's all in His plan and thats what I want to be a part of. Hopefully we will know something in the morning and this is just the extra step I should come to expect :)
On a lighter note, I have had some great back to back weekends with great friends! We ventured to Boone last weekend to visit with the Bumgarners, the family that Kyle and I both worked for in college as well as Allison and Brian Parkers wedding! It was beautiful to say the least and she looked classically gorgeous as always. This past weekend we went to Charlotte for the previously mentioned "Caribbean Chid-Shower". It was a blast. I love all of the App family and love when we get together. I already have the actual Chid Wedding AND homecoming on the calendar to look forward to. I got some much needed hang out time with BFF and had sooo much fun!
Also, I might mention that Kyle got a job in WILMINGTON! After a YEAR of looking, the Lord has provided him with a job here in Wilmington. For those of you who know us, know that this is monumental in our relationship. ha. Maybe not for others but man it feels great to have an end in site with the long distance! He will be starting mid august. Perfect timing for when I have to go back to school. I'm so excited for whats in store for us now that we will be in the same town :)

Great Job BFF!!! I'm so sorry to hear about the house...what great job with the trust and attitude. I could learn a few things from you.
Hopefully you got the hang of this blog thing and will continue to update your readers weekly
I've been thinking a lot about you lately - praying that things are going well. Sorry about the bump in the road. CV and I had many but it just makes the final result even better. Hope to see you (and the new house) soon!
Love ya!
