A while ago, the husband and I decided it was time to kick the queen bed to the guest room and invest in a king size bed for many reasons. Let me tell you, it was the best decision we have made in a while. I'm a girl of space and it's nice to sleep without one heat giving off husband, one crazy sprawled out mutt and one furry black kitty on top of you. I changed a few things in the master but not too much changed other than the bed orientation. When we, or I scored this brass bed off of craigslist we decided to try it in front of the window and it immediately opened up the room. I knew if we wanted something in front of the window I wasn't going to be able to have my dream cottage-y wooden bed but I was equally pleased with this older brass bed. I also had to pick a new print for our duvet since our other linens would be going in the guest room. I found this duvet at pottery barn and with the help of the 'magic card' I was skipping home with my new print. The nightstands are very special, as they are antiques from my aunt's house. The first two pics I took with my phone so they aren't the best but thought I would share!

a few with the real camera even though they still aren't that great. add taking that to my list of things to learn to do
master bathroom. the lighting stinks but it doesn't get a lot of natural light. not a fan of our master bath but it works for now. my favorite are the monogrammed hand towels. such a sucker for monogramming.
enjoy! hope to get some more "update" pics of the house up soon!

Love it! It's like that space was made for the bed to go there. Has me itching to redo our room.
