1. i love the water, hence why i ended up in wilmington! i absolutely love the water and the joy/peace it brings when i am standing in front of the ocean. some like to visit once a year, i like to visit once a day (while i am doing my run down at the "loop" at wrightsville beach. you locals know what i am talking about)
2. i love chunky jewelry. any kind of it. rings, bracelets, watches, etc. i'm not a junk jewelry type o gal, although i do wish i wasn't allergic to nickel and didn't break out in a rash because i would probably partake in some of those awesome junk jewels i see at francescas. i don't have tons of pieces but the ones i do have are special and i adore them. the chunkier the better.
3. target is my happy place. sometimes when i get off work (i get this from my mom) i go wander around target or tj maxx and look. it is such a stress reliever for me as silly as it sounds and i prefer this activity by myself because i have no agenda, ha.
4. i love jesus. he loves my dirty selfish heart and any good comes from his love through me. he gets me through everyday and helps me love these seemingly unlovable kids at times and love my wonderful husband. otherwise i would be a cranky moody woman with an agenda, ha
5. speaking of agenda, i am not always on time (my husband does not help this effort either) but i'm working on it. i am super organized in every other area in my life. i love my erincondren.com life planner like there is no tomorrow, i like things to be color coded, and i like a large monthly calendar on my desk, i'm oldschool i know.
6. i am a visual learner. you can read it to me 1,000 times but i have to see it to understand it. goes back to the color coded thing, ha i like things in visual order :)
7. i love decorating a home. i am not perfect at it by any stretch but i do love to create a "home". the husband has to slow me down because i usually want it done and done now. im learning to take my time and settle in and change things as i go
8. i love girl time. i love girls that challenge me and love me for who i am. i love a woman that inspires me to be more like jesus all while living a messy life. we aren't perfect and i am guilty as any trying to have the perfect "image" like i do have it all together. that's why myoneword is image this year. letting it all go sista..
9. i love to sleep. i'm not typically an early riser like before 6am type but i am usually up by 8am on the weekends.
10. i am an animal lover at heart. i love any and every animal that i see. all the cats at petsmart on the weekends, all the dogs walking at the loop. they all make me smile, even my crazy zoo at home. i think animals bring such joy to life and i don't know what i would do without my little zoo.
11. i'm an analyzer. i have to be careful not to analyze ev-ery-thing. i have a pyschology minded brain and i like to understand why people do what they do. many people have told me i should have been a counselor. maybe when i grow up?
12. i love to travel and learn about other cultures. i'd hop on a plane tomorrow, just tell me where we're going! i've lived in argentina for 4 months and visited guatemala for 2 weeks and have studied spanish since i was a child but still not fluent. maybe my goal for next year?
13. i love bedding and pillows. i think i have a thing for jackets, shoes and pillows. don't be surprised if you see new pillow covers on my couch every new season. i can't help it. i need shoes and jackets for different seasons just like i need pillows. the husband threatens to reenact the scene from along came polly where jennifer anniston stabs all the bed pillows with a knife and the feathers go flying. i would cry.
14. i'm learning to really love running. last weekend i did 7.5 miles. if you would have asked me a year ago to do 7.5 i would have laughed in your face. this year im training for 13. love it
15. i love my husband. obvious i know because he is my husband but i love that he also shares a love for jesus, the ocean, animals, traveling, and loving life.
I think 15 is prob enough for today, ha. don't want to bore anybody but maybe i'll think of some more random facts soon!
